Just spoke with Jason and he went by the house during his lunch break. The second opinion electrician had been there and is going to get back with him soon on that situation. The carpenter has removed the peninsula that was blocking the freezer door. Jason says it reveals that the hardwood stops at the kitchen entrance and that there is no hardwood under the kitchen floor. He also said that the removal of the section from the cabinet looks as good as new and that you'd never know it was even there. This guy that I found is a great carpenter.
